Washington Saves will expand access to retirement savings for workers in Washington state.
In 2024, the Washington State legislature passed a bill, signed by Governor Jay Inslee, to establish the Washington Saves program. RCW 19.05 was then signed into law.
Washington Saves is an auto-IRA retirement savings program administered by the State of Washington for workers whose employers don’t offer a retirement plan.
